SEGway X211
PT's X211 series platform is designed to operate in today’s circuit-switched networks and facilitate the transition to an IP-based SS7 network with either circuit or IP-based links. The use of M2PA-enabled devices at the edge further extends the reach of the X211 and enhances flexibility and reliability. Unused T1/E1 channels can also be mapped through for voice pass-through (x-connect) capability.
The SEGway X211 scales up to 64 SS7 links, eight ATM, four AnnexA, and 16 SIGTRAN links with support for multi-variant SS7 and SIGTRAN protocols. The SEGway X211’s I/O options include a full array of physical interfaces, including T1, E1, ATM, AnnexA HSL, and Ethernet.
